October 21st Fearless Records is releasing Punk Goes Acoustic. It's a collection of acoustic songs preformed by Thursday, Taking Back Sunday, Glasseater and of course Piebald!!!. The band? first release on Vagrant Records.?Recorded by Eben, David, Ted, Bryan, and Christopher in March and April of 2001 and released July 10, 2001.?n order to work with producer Rob Schnapf (Elliot Smith, Beck, the Vines, and the Foo Fighters) the band relocated to West Hollywood and took up residence in the home of a popular actor. Recording commenced at Sunset Sound and Sonora Studios, and many a night was spent cooking spaghetti and mixing mushroom salad with grape juice (not a good idea, kiddies). The eleven songs on SWYA range from raging rock ditties like "Certain Tragedy" to smooth, sultry jams like "Freakish" and "Nightingale? This record shows how much fun you can have in the sun, but also offers a stern message of warning to anyone who is negligent in caring for their large desert plants
